Description:
Coniraya Penrose of Van Dijk is the daughter of a unique combination: TAG Peruvian Pretty Pandora and Van Dijk. This combination showed great promise from the start, combining Pandora’s strong dam line with Van Dijk’s modern American genetics.
Pandora is one of those females who demonstrates her worth not only through her own quality, but above all through her offspring. Her offspring consistently stand out for their type, conformation, and breeding potential, so we follow each subsequent combination from this line with great interest.
Penrose’s father is Van Dijk. His offspring very well confirm what we look for in modern breeding: high fiber quality, uniformity, and stability of traits passed down to subsequent generations.
Penrose’s result in the Genetic Focus test is particularly noteworthy – SD Across 4.20 µm. This is a very good result, demonstrating high fiber uniformity throughout the fleece and confirming the potential of this breeding combination. Penrose combines the strength of Pandora’s proven dam line with the exceptional genetics of Van Dijk. She is one of those young alpacas whose development we follow with genuine interest.
