During a meeting with our experienced educator, participants will embark on a fascinating journey through the world of camelids. In an accessible and engaging way, they will learn, among other things::
1. What are the characteristics of llamas, alpacas, dromedaries and Bactrians?.
2. What was the evolution of this extraordinary family like and where are its representatives found?
3. How to tell the difference between a llama and an alpaca, and a suri alpaca from a huacaya.
4. Why do alpacas and llamas spit – and should we really be afraid of them?
5. What’s in a camel’s hump – and why does it actually need that hump?
6. What is the difference between a dromedary and a Bactrian and where do these animals live?
Classes last approximately 40-45 minutes and are conducted using engaging teaching aids. Our staff adheres to current sanitary regulations, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all participants.
