In November 2018 I went on a second trip to Peru. This time there were two main goals: Alpaca Fiesta and a trip through Peru with Quechua Benefit...
We started from Alpaca Fiesta, i.e. Arequipa (2325 m above sea level) with the majestic active Misti volcano visible from almost every point of the city.
Arequipa is the second largest city in Peru and it is here that the largest alpaca festival – Alpaca Fiesta – is organized every 4 years.
Alpaca Fiesta is primarily an exhibition of alpacas coming here from the most distant regions, but also lectures, fashion shows and handicrafts.
A great opportunity to see the best Peruvian alpacas, meet the most famous farms as well as breeders and judges from all over the world who come here especially for Alpaca Fiesta.
