What is the National Network of Educational Farms?
The National Network of Educational Farms is an initiative aimed at popularizing agricultural education and promoting farms that offer educational activities. The network brings together places that combine ecological education, village traditions and practical experience in agriculture and breeding. Educational Farms support various educational activities and their goal is to:
- Raising the prestige of the farming profession and spreading knowledge about the origin of food
- Supporting the diversity of economic activity in rural areas,
- Preserving the cultural heritage of the Polish countryside.
Joining the network is voluntary and open to any facility that meets certain criteria – including having the right conditions for conducting educational activities in the field of agricultural production and animal breeding. Thanks to participating in the network, farms can benefit from promotions in the nationwide internet system, as well as from consulting and training.
Coniraya as an Educational Farm
Coniraya is a place where nature meets a passion for education. We offer a wide range of classes for organized groups and individual clients. On our farm we breed not only alpacas, but also llamas, camels, and even horses and Icelandic ponies. Our offer includes both educational classes adapted to the age and abilities of the participants, as well as practical workshops related to animal breeding and care.
During the visit to Coniraya, participants can learn more about camelids – the camelid family to which our animals belong. We also offer workshops on the processing of alpaca wool, its properties and possible uses. Each visit is not only contact with animals, but also an opportunity to learn through play and experience nature.
Educational offer at Coniraya
Our classes cover a range of topics, from crop production, through animal breeding, to traditional crafts and processing of agricultural products. What’s more, we are open to the individual needs of our guests, so we can adapt the program to selected topics from the core curriculum. Our offer includes:
Animal breeding and behavior classes,

- Integration and educational activities for groups,
- Lectures organized at schools and kindergartens.
- In addition to the stay on our farm, we offer the possibility of using additional attractions, such as a barbecue or walks in our beautiful meadows. This is a great opportunity to relax and integrate in the surroundings of nature.
